DRG CMS documentation

The year 2022 marks the tenth anniversary since the first steps for my own CMS were done. Since then, more than 15 websites and 20 Intranet applications have been created with DRG. Some simple and some with more than 30 collections involved. DRG has evolved and has been stable and used for production since 2014.

DRG is based on the Ruby on Rails framework which guarantees a large number of additional programming tools and the highest level of application security. It uses the leading noSQL database MongoDB as database backend. MongoDB is super easy to start with and enables tones of advanced features when your needs will grow. DRG also uses Ruby, by far the most productive programming language you will learn in your carrier. Ruby's object-oriented syntax is natural and feels logical. Programming in Ruby is fun and you join one of the most friendly communities in the world.
